MAMA Youth Project: Digital and Broadcast Media Training 2026

Applications are now open for the MAMA Youth Project’s award-winning, 8-week training programme in digital and broadcast media. Aimed at young people aged between 19 to 30 years old living in Greater London, this free opportunity is your gateway into the creative industries.

What You Will Learn​

Get hands-on training in real-life media roles, including:

  • Trainee Researcher
  • Camera & Lighting Operator
  • Video Editor
  • Sound Recordist
  • Production Coordinator / Manager

Training is delivered by industry professionals from the BAFTA-winning MAMA Youth Project and Licklemor Productions.

Real Career Opportunities

Graduates of the training programme have gone on to work for companies like:

  • BBC Studios
  • Disney
  • Warner Bros
  • ITV
  • And other leading production companies in the media industry.

How To Apply

  • To Apply for the MAMA Youth Project: Digital and Broadcast Media Training 2026, submit an application here.
  • The deadline to apply is Monday 27th October 2025 at 11:59PM. Applications received after this time will not be considered.
  • No formal qualifications or prior experience is required, just passion for building a career in either TV or Digital Media.
  • The training location will take place at Garden Studios, The Hive, 42–50 Steele Road, London, NW10 7AS. 
  • Travel and Lunch cost are provided throughout the training programme.

If your application is successful, you will then receive an invitation to attend an interview. All shortlisted applicants will be notified of the application outcome by the Tuesday 25th November 2025.
