MU AFTERPARTY SHOWCASE 2026: BBC Introducing, Live Band & Emerging Talent

The MU Summit Afterparty provided the perfect finale to what had already been an uplifting and inspiring day celebrating music, creativity, and talent development within the local music scene. Bringing together artists, industry professionals, music lovers, and supporters, the afterparty created an atmosphere that reflected the positive energy generated throughout the summit while providing a platform for both emerging and established talent.

Restoration Sound System Sets the Tone

The evening opened with a warm-up DJ set from Restoration Sound System, who delivered a strictly vinyl selection that showcased the rich heritage and diversity of underground music culture. Their carefully curated set journeyed through dub reggae, grime, drum and bass, and hip hop, creating the perfect soundtrack as attendees settled into the evening and prepared for the performances ahead.
